| Well it's been a while since I last blogged due to not much to say. So to make some people happy I'm going to tell a story thats dear to my heart. When I was younger I was a big fan of the show MacGuyver. I credit MacGuyver for making me want to become an Engineer. Anyways, I was about 6 or so when they cancelled the show and I was a little more than upset. I wrote a letter to the show protesting what evil doings they had done. So, to make me feel better they were kind enough to send me a sweet pic of MacGuyver, but not kind enough to reinstate the show. I have the pic hanging on my wall if anyone wants to see it. MacGuyver, you're my hero.
See ya all later

| Well like everyone else has probably said, retreat was a good time. I liked hearing Dick talk and especially started listening when I found out he was a fellow engineering nerd. I'm sure everyone who was there is gonna tell everyone who wasn't there about how great the message was and what Dick said so I'm gonna waste your time by telling the stuff I picked up that wasn't given in the message, but still spoke to me. Ok to start things on a happy note....Amie said on the trip back that she thought girls should be nicer to guys, I don't think I've heard a girl ever say that before. Three girls this year have really blessed me and shown me a better view of how awesome girls are, so thank you Amie, Sarah, and Laura. And now for the negatory smickly report....I think XA (this for surely includes me) does a crap job of inviting visitors into our group and lives. Everyone at the retreat kinda kept to there own sects and never left them. The trip down there at BK I saw a newer fella (real cool guy) sittin and eating by himself. And then the foreign girls that Laerki so thoughtfully brought ended up sitting by themselves quite a bit. If we're supposed to be disciples, we may have to do a lot better than that. I know, I'm chastising myself here. We can all work on this area I do beleive. Maybe this just hits a chord with me because I hated church for most my life cuz everyone had their own sects and I was all by myself (I'm not throwing a pitty party here, just stating some facts). I don't know about you, but I'm gonna make a conscious effort to do better welcoming new people. Well thats depressing and all, but I felt it needed to be said, so there it is. I hope you have a wonderful day. | | |
| Not real sure what to write on this thing....so I'll follow Dave's idea and write about what I read and thought about today. This may be excruciatingly boring so watch out. In Joshua they go and whoop the crap outta everyone, sweet deal. I thought how can a God of peace anhialate (sp?) all those people? And then I thought that it was God fulfilling His promise to His people and showing His power. And then I read in Mathew how those who cause peace are the sons of God. And I thought how can Jesus say that cuz He caused so much conflict. Then I thought that he was just a peaceful guy who spoke facts and the others were the ones that started conflict. Jesus just lived out His life and started conflict. I figure if there's conflict to be made it should be us (Christians) living out our faith and if it offends someone and starts conflict thats ok. But conflict sucks. Plus God whooped up on everyone in Israel's way so maybe He'll do the same for me. OK, probably not.

| I haven't blogged in forever so I'm a bit sorry for that. Things are going pretty well. Last night me and Davie poo went and talked with our sister core about Godly guys and it twas cool. They had some good questions and I think me and Dave answered them well enough at least. I do believe I'm heading over to the China land this summer. I felt thats where God was leading me, so there I will go. Teaching English may not be something I'm good at, but I think it'll be a good first mission trip experience. I encourage all to go. I got my new granny speedster on Tuesday night. Its a Pontiac Bonneville and its pretty nice. The last Pontiac I owned was a Trans-Am so this ones nicer but not as fast (as far as I know). My Dad picked it up in Rapid City for me because my Buick has unfortunately suffered death by accident. Luckily the other kid's insurance should pay for the new granny-mobile. Along with the little talk last night with the girls I realized something. The guys in XA are really blessed to know all the XA girls cuz they're really cool, fun to hang out with, and blessings to us. Trust me, not all women are like them. Well I best get on to class, so peace out. Have a great day.

| Hey everyone. Its been awhile since I posted due to finals, projects, hw, and absolutely nothing to say. I'm home now, and don't have much to do. Lunch with some old friends is coming up pretty soon. How's everyone else's break going? Over this break I'm trying to get closer to God. I know everyone says that, well I'm sayin it too. This morning I spent almost two hours reading and such. I NEVER have this kind of time, so it's really nice. I'm also looking forward to going out to KY for the world mission summit. But until then I'll just be chillin at home. I think I'm gettin old cuz I played my lil bro in basketball last night and I was pretty sore. I beat the lil punk but only by two. Hope all of you have a great vacation.
